How Harbour works

1. Two sides of the harbour

Job seekers publish a short professional profile: occupation, English level, cities they would actually move to, and the visa subclasses they are open to. Recruiters and employers publish their sponsor standing and the roles they will nominate against.

2. Roles arrive from more than one dock

The public board shows harvested employer career-page ads (Greenhouse / Stripe boards and similar) with working original-advert URLs. Native Harbour posts stay on the recruiter desk. Adzuna AU is used when live keys are present — fixture Adzuna ads are never published. A recruiter can also paste a LinkedIn, SEEK or Indeed URL and confirm the details — we never scrape those boards.

3. An explainable classifier

We tag explicit sponsorship, open to sponsorship, no sponsorship, or unknown from the advert text — 482, 186, 494, “will sponsor”, versus “citizens only” or “must hold a valid visa”. The public board shows explicit and open only. Unknown career-page ads stay off /jobs. Reasons are shown on the role page.

4. A simple match score

Occupation family and ANZSCO overlap, shared visa subclasses, and preferred city versus the role location. Nothing is a Home Affairs assessment.

5. Free while we grow

Harbour is free for job seekers and for recruiter desks. Recruiter subscriptions may come later (AUD +GST). There is no checkout and no card collection on this product today.
